Digital Multicore Digital 128 Channel Multicore on Lightpipe AD/DA
|
Two Converterblocks can be plugged together via BNC or Lightpipe
to form a digital “analog” Multicore. Configured as “straight
through” it fulfils the same tasks as any analog Multicore,
though with an enormous extension of cable length, (up to 3000ft
on MADI lightpipe). Its cable is light and easy to carry and
install, absolutely EM and hum resistant, and it can find its
place in the tiniest gap of any existing installation, behind
wall covers or under carpets. Both units could also be used
separately with digital mixers as Stagebox I/O and, in
combination with Range-X modules, even 8Ch snakes on stage are
no hassle.
example:
16 X 16 Router Compact Routing Matrix for 8 Channel Groups
Every
Converterblock can be configured or muted in 8 channel groups
(seperately for In- and Outputs) e.g. Analog-In 1-8 to Madi-Out
25-31,
Analog-Out 1-8 to MAD-In 57-64 etc.

example:
2
to 8-times splitting: 2x32 to 8x8 Splitterbox
Every Converter block can work as audio-splitter. Audio-channel 1-32 can
be output on DA 1-32 and in the same time parallel also on DA 33-64.
Especially for broadcast, Live TV or PA purposes this feature adds
additional value to the system. No extra splitter boxes are necessary.
All settings, including sync, split, router input select etc are
remotely configurable through a control PC. The settings are permanent,
and
even after a complete power blackout all of them stay where they were
set to before.
