Samplitude and Sequoia, in contrast to other digital audio workstations, enable a complete in-the-box workflow, whereby all steps, from composition recording and sound creation using VST instruments to editing, mixing, and mastering the finished CD, take place within a single program.

The unique object-oriented workflow offers fully new creative possibilities. The audio material can be split into any number of objects and then moved on the tracks freely. Each object may be processed with different effects like plug-ins, EQ, timestretching, panning, etc.

All settings are calculated in real time; new files are not calculated on the hard drive. Clips that lie in sequence on the same track may contain fully different settings. This saves tracks and keeps things organized.
