The Classic Tube Equalizer allows you to edit signals in a distinctly stronger way, without producing any disturbing sound changes. The result is brilliant heights with an impressing amount of details and bouncing basses without any indifference.

Passive Filter:
The circuit in passive filters is fundamentally different from electronic in modern systems. Instead of sound corrections and saving of costs in manufacturing, the focus here lies on musicality. Broad wavebands widely overlapping each other create a very specific sound characteristic. Interactivity between the single modules and sound forming phase differences allow you room for experimentation.

Based upon the potential divider principle the filters are built completely passive, consisting of metal film resistors, coils and film capacitors.

Especially the high-quality and cost-intensive coils (by the way, manually winded at Tegeler Audio Manufaktur) are a specialty in passive equalizer circuits.

There is no active amplifier within the wave bands. After processing, the signals are brought back to nominal level with a tube amplifier stage.

And how does this sound? Very musical, even with extreme settings.
